Whilst looking for this on ebay, I came across this Merit "Six Memory Games" box. I'm not entirely sure what the six different games are, but I was more interested in the retro illustrations. They look like they must be out of some childrens' books and have a Provensens feel about them ... but I can't be sure. I can't find any info about them anywhere ... anyone have any suggestions?
I have these cards and they are the only game which I have kept since my childhood in the 1970s. There is something quite magical about these cards, fairy talish. They are also an excellent test of memory as there are quite a number of similar but subtly different cards ie multiple versons of cats, dogs, birds, princes, pigs, pictures of washing up, horses etc. I don't know where the pictures originate from.
